HYDRAULIC CHARACTERISTICS

The tap holder with flange gauge control is used to connect the network to any of the pressure measuring instrument . The function of this device is that of sectioning of the fluid conducted by the measurement apparatus , to allow the possible replacement . In the time of closing of the faucet , through a hole on his body , is downloaded to the residual fluid of the instrument for measurement , to prevent accidental outflow of water under pressure at the time of unscrewing of the same or, in the presence of temperatures close to zero, the freezing of the liquid and the consequent rupture of the measurement apparatus . The purpose of the flange of which is provided with the faucet is to make possible the verification of the pressure and possibly the measuring instrument by the entity ISPESL ; measures of this flange conform to what is required by the institution itself for connecting the pressure gauge their sample.

The pressure gauge should be applied directly to the generator or on discharge pipes or return of the same , as long as they are not interposed interception by means of a pressure supply of the appendix to the application of the instrument of control. This appendix (flange) must be of the type disc plane of 40 mm diameter and 4 mm thick . The use of the valve flange inspection gauge is available both in heating systems with closed expansion tank and in those with open expansion vessel
