White San® FungHalt Silicone Saratoga

BIANCO • SAN® is a one-component silicone sealant with neutral cross-linking, specific for sanitary ware, bathrooms and kitchens. It has excellent adhesion to polycarbonate, polymethylmethacrylate, ABS, rigid PVC, ceramic, glass, aluminum, some plastics, painted substrates, concrete, plaster and wood. It is specially formulated in order to obtain perfect sealing even over time; in fact, as shown in the test alongside, even on common sanitary silicones, in stressed conditions, over time, mold, which is unsightly and unsanitary, forms. BIANCO • SAN®, on the other hand, thanks to FUNGHALT ™, the microbicide for sealants by Saratoga, guarantees super protection against mold for over 10 years, and also maintains its high tone of white or transparent over time, its elasticity, resistance to hot water, rubbing, light. It complies with ISO 11600-F & G-25LM standards.

• Funghalt Saratoga is the specific biocide for use in silicone sealants, whose active ingredient is 4,5, -Di-Chloro-Nn-Ottil-isothiazolin-3-one (DCOIT), particularly effective against fungi and bacteria, such as from tests performed according to ISO 846 B standards, and in particular against Aspergillus Niger and Alternaria. Thanks to its very low solubility, it is not washed away by water, and therefore remains fixed in the silicone matrix, guaranteeing protection for over 10 years.

It is the ideal product for the fungicidal protection of silicone sealants, due to its broad spectrum efficacy, exceptional resistance to washout and ease of incorporation into the sealant mass.
SECTORS OF APPLICATION

• It is particularly suitable for sealing whirlpools, showers, baths, saunas, sanitary ware and for all those environments where a high resistance to mold and detergents is required. Also ideal for frames, doors and windows in environments subject to high condensation.

APPLICATION
It is applied to compact, clean and dry surfaces, free from dust and grease.
It is recommended to mask for an exact edge profiling (remove immediately after application).

• Cut the nozzle into the desired diameter.
• It is extruded with a manual or compressed air gun.
• It is not paintable, so first paint then apply.
• Apply insulating material (adhesive tape) to the bottom of the joint; if the joint is deep, fill with filling material.
• It cleans surfaces and tools within 10 minutes with a clean cloth soaked in solvent; when hardened it cleans.

NOTES: Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact, wash with plenty of water and consult a doctor.
