Sentinel CalSanit descales heat exchangers, electric water heaters, coils and hot water systems. The unique composition allows Sentinel CalSanit to act as a dispersant and complexing agent under less acidic conditions than other acid-based products. Therefore, not only is it much less aggressive on metals than traditional descalers, but it is also safe for the operator, does not require special storage or transport precautions, and does not harm the environment.
Sentinel CalSanit is suitable for use with all metals and alloys normally used. It is also possible to clean the aluminum, taking care to limit the cleaning duration to a maximum of two hours. It should not be used on galvanized surfaces

Sentinel Calsanit is a powerful and extremely active product for the removal of limescale from any type of domestic hot water system, restoring its energy efficiency. It is specially formulated to remove harmful deposits from heat exchangers and coils and pipes.

USE:
Dilute Sentinel CalSanit with water to reach a concentration of 10-20% (the highest will clean heavily encrusted surfaces). Cleaning is faster if the solution is heated but it is recommended not to exceed 60 ° C.

Cleaning will be faster by using high circulation washing pumps.

• Electric water heaters: immerse only the encrusted part of the element in the cleaning solution (taking care not to wet the electric controls of the water heater with the solution). Washing will be faster if you shake lightly and heat the solution.
• Heat exchangers: remove the heat exchanger from the system and connect its inlet and outlet to a high circulation unit such as Sentinel JetFlush 4; circulate a 20% solution of Sentinel CalSanit through the exchanger for about two hours, periodically inverting the flow to obtain a more effective cleaning.
• Domestic hot water systems: turn off the equipment, isolate the water supply and completely empty the system by opening the hot water taps. Add a 10-20% solution of Sentinel CalSanit to the tank of a high circulation unit such as the Sentinel JetFlush 4 and connect it to the circuit. Let it circulate for at least an hour, until the encrustations have been removed.

After descaling, all equipment must be drained and rinsed with running water until the water that comes out is clean and odorless. If necessary, the cleaning process can be repeated.
