The valves are bidirectional, manage the flow in both directions. the application of fastening materials (PTFE, hemp) should be limited to the area of the thread, an excess may interfere in the sphere-closure affecting the sealing gasket.
in the case in which the fluid present impurities (dirt, dust, excessive water hardness), these should be removed or sorted because otherwise during the rotation of the sphere can damage the seals
