HYDRAULIC CHARACTERISTICS
The air vent valve " Valmat " is a single float valve that automatically performs two main functions: the evacuation of a consistent flow of air from a pipe ( es.Durante loading / pressurization system) and degassing , which allows to relieve air trapped in the pipe or that is formed during the year.
The application of this valve is of fundamental importance in the circuits and in air conditioning systems for the evacuation and the discharge of the air trapped in the water pipes in service under pressure , in fact , as widely documented in the European Standard EN 14868 , the presence oxygen in heating can cause anodic corrosion , localized noise , air pockets, obstructions, etc. . that may significantly affect the integrity and efficiency of the plant .
Furthermore , the reduced overall dimensions make it suitable to be used inside the most modern heat generators , where it becomes necessary to evacuate the air from the circulation pumps in order to avoid unpleasant phenomena of cavitation.
